Yea, if only every person recreating in every bar, restaurant, movie theater, University, Grade school, and night club in the United States was armed with an AR-15, every night of every year.
That's the kind of country I want.
Paradise!
What could possibly go wrong?

No don't need everyone. Just a few who want to be able to defend themselves or others who are in great danger. You must be in a very rough neighborhood if you want to lug around a rifle.

In a situation like Pulse, and with several people armed, how does one decide which shooter to shoot?

Like at the pulse? Or in Newtown, CT?
I think we have to give up on these Rambo fantasies if we are ever to deal with the issue.
BTW, it's not very hard to get a gun in Florida.
Yet this still happened.
Whatever happened to more guns making us safer?

Holy cow. CS's idea is so looney that the NRA disagrees.

The actual sentiment behind the limited number of poster that went up seems to go like this "gays cannot protect themselves if the government is going to disarm individuals". This is all a bunch of hooey. The things on the table to help control guns has nothing to do with disarming the public from defending themselves.
Additionally, IMHO I would venture to guess that most people don't even want to have to worry about carrying a gun into such public venues to begin with which would be considered soft targets.
