Since the California massacre, the sheriff's office here has been issuing 100+ conceal and carry permits per day. People have been lining up outside the building waiting for their turn. What could possibly go wrong with more and more 'good guys' packing heat across the county?

More guns are the answer to gun violence.
Just like more coal burning plants are the answer to air pollution,,,, or something like that. I dunno, my passions are running high.

Well, it appears it ain't just here in Lancaster:
And, go for it, Grandma:
“What if someone comes after me or my family?” said Janet Winkler, a grandmother who was shopping for bullets to fill the revolver inside her purse. “I used to never carry it to Target or to Wal-Mart, but the way things are, after all that’s happened, now I do.”

A revolver?
Grandmas are so cute and quaint.
I'm putting all of the seniors in my family on the list for a bushmaster.
Is there a navy SEAL version? I don't want my mom going to water aerobics and being out-gunned.

Fred,
So the very thing you want is happening and you are still frightened by people exercising their right to apply for a License to carry a firearm? Everyone applying is doing the responsible thing. They are being checked by, local, state and federal law enforcement!

Well, that makes me feel better ............... they are checked by local, state, and federal law enforcement.
Once all the good guys are packin' heat, we won't have anything to fear from a rascally toddler getting into granny's purse sitting in the shopping cart because a good guy in Walmart would blow the kid's head off before he hurt granny.

A "target" rich environment?
