I guess we allow terrorists to legally buy guns, and balance it out by expecting the rest of us to buy more guns. 
A thought on American Exceptionalism.
America has become exceptional,,,, in grotesque ways.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Right. The same people that spread the hate, fear, and paranoia over the threat of terrorism are the same people that want people on the no-fly watch list to be able to purchase weapons or be subjected to expanded backround checks. Insanity.

I caught a bit of an interview with Lindsay Graham. He goes on for about 5 minutes about the threat of Islamic terror, caliphates, and the like and how horrible and dangerous it is for America.
The follow up question was about the Senate vote about the terror list and the Senator said, "Well, we can't strip rights away from people just because they're on some list."
Kinda makes you want to bang your head against a wall.
