A bit dramatic, I think, but he has reason to alert, warn people of the unbelievable lies that come from Trump and other Republican candidates. I'd be just as scornful about Cruz who is just as dangerous, particularly when it comes to females.

There is an article in today's NYT about how the GOP establishment is in an absolute panic over the disaster that will befall the party if Trump wins the nomination. They expect that not only will he get crushed by Hillary, but he will hurt the entire ticket from the House and Senate down to state races.
It is difficult for me to fell sorry for them. The GOP has fed The Crazy and profited from The Crazy from the days of hinting that Hillary killed Vince Foster thru the rise of the demagogues of talk radio and Fox, to birth certificates, death panels, demonizing immigrants, Government shutdowns and gridlock. They created this monster. Or more accurately, the GOP created the moment in which a charismatic fascist could manipulate The Crazy into a winning campaign.
As ye sow, so shall ye reap.

While I appreciate Kasich taking on Trump, I'd prefer he focus on his own ideas and positions, because from what I've seen, he's far and away the best the GOP has to offer in this election cycle.
