Ben Carson: 'We should have a database on everybody'

Two observations.
First it is noteworthy that the two guys making these proposals are members of the self-described "Party of personal freedom and limited government". And, they are doing very well in polls of republican voters.
So, people who were concerned that our own armed forces training in the Southwest were really planning to declare martial law and seize our guns, want to create a national police force to kick in doors and capable of deporting 11 million people.
And people who were objected that the IRS would actually investigate organizations to see if they qualified for tax exempt status now want the government to keep "dossiers"  either on everybody belonging to a certain religion,,, or just everybody. 


Secondly, Ben Carson is known for his references to nazi Germany, and a particular obsession with the belief that an American Hitler could arise. When I see Ben recommending that the government keep dossiers on all Americans, I have to ask: Ben are you trying to stop the American Hitler, or be the American Hitler?
