Glad to see France is becoming proactive and striking back. I hope this spurs a more proactive approach among Western European countries and leads to a real coalition of nations to fight this cancer. It's going to take a true global effort, and I agree it won't be easy.

It is good that France is taking the lead on some immediate airstrikes on Syria and ISIS.
At the same time, we're talking about more of the same in terms of a strategy of air attacks, which the U.S. has been leading for a year now.
I'm willing to be patient in terms of NATO formulating a game plan to decide the best course of action, and to rally the Arab states who need to be a part of this,and frankly, will suffer an overwhelming amount of carnage, both in direct destruction of "stuff" and a heightened refugee crisis.
