We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

I think it's a huge problem what they are putting into our food and people are just starting to wake up.  Very troubling.

All one has to do is attempt to eat the garbage sold as food in turnpike restaurants!

ugh!!!  better to cook at home!!!  but is what we buy to do so really better???

Happily, I never eat at any of those restaurants named in the survey.  As for fox's comment I don't hear or read of supemarkets going out of their way to find & sell safe(er) meat products in their stores.

I hear you. It can be a challenge in the supermarket as well.

Lately, I've been making a huge effort to buy local. I mean, I've gotten a few things at farmer's markets for years and years. But I've now found local sources of meat and poultry. And I try to respect the seasons more.
