Boom!
I'm watching the Pope's address to Congress.
At one point the Pope called upon us to "do everything in our power to protect human life at all it's stages".
Republicans rose to their feet cheering.
As they settled into their seats the Pope continued,
"This has led me to urge for a global abolition of the death penalty"
They never saw it coming,,,,

The Pope's address should make both "sides" in this country review their own assumptions and sacred cows.
