Mike Huckabee is concerned that the President isn't showing respect for the Pope.
The same Pope that Huckabee has trashed becaused he accepts the science on Climate change.

Welcoming the Pope can be "anti Christian" only if one is deluded into considering the Pope to be non-Christian.
There are some extreme sectarians (Baptist sorts, mostly) who do in all sincerity believe that Catholic are not "really" Christians; the most extreme believe that Catholics are unsaved and doomed to Hell (think the "Chick publications" comic book style tracts.
So the Huckster has decided to align himself with that fringe?

I personally know a guy who will be deployed to Philly with his search and rescue dog and a couple from the Salvation Army who will be down there as part of a mass feeding (NO pun intended) operation for the first responders.

BTW, I regret responding to Huckabee with a vulgar movie clip. Sometimes I just cannot resist taking the bait.
Anyway, it certainly was not in the spirit of the Holy Father.
What I should have said is that I am increasingly resentful of Mike Huckabee trying to run a Presidential campaign based soley on attempting to exploit sectarian tensions. And I am angry that he is trying to use the Pope's visit as a tool to attack the President in a very personal manner. What happened to the happy, loving, conservative with a heart Huckabee of 2008? Anyway, I'll pray that he will watch Francis and decide to conduct his life in a more productive manner.
