Want to See a Trump Voter?
Not necessarily Trump's fault, as he cannot control what questions are asked. I'm merely pointing out the kind of person who is wild for Trump, and the bigotted, hateful vein he has deliberately tapped for fame
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

I saw this, too. The real problem for me, and it says something about the Trumpster, is that he never corrected the guy. At least when a similar statement was made to John McCain a few years ago by some crazy lady, McCain had the decency to correct the lady. Besides, last time I checked, Obama isn't running for president.
In a broader and more general sense, when I see stuff like this I have to wonder if we, as a nation, even deserve to maintain a democracy ................. or will be able to successfully.

There is a part of the population that is driven by fear. That guy is very angry, but also afraid.
They see 'their' country changing, and they are very resentful of people unlike them. Mexicans, Muslims, gays, the unreligious .
As a politician, you can lead by pandering to fear, or by education and appealing to hope.
Guess which approach is easier

I think by not correcting the man is an indication of how little Trump really listen to what people say. His stock reply seems to be we are checking into...... . I'd love to know who are these "we" people Trump continuously refers to.
