Correct. The judge gave her four options
Option 1 - Do your job and issue marriage licenses
Option 2 - Let your deputy clerks issue the licenses
Option 3 - Resign
Option 4 - Go to jail
She chose option 4.
So I don't feel to bad that she's in jail since she had other options. Personally, I think she is getting bad advice from her legal team. She could have chose Option 2 and continued to petition the governor and state legislature.
