A question

In November, Amendment One, an amendment to the Alabama state constitution that prohibits foreign law being used to decide cases in Alabama courts, passed easily and will be added to the Alabama Constitution.

Um, anybody know what country/countries the Bible was written in?

Re: A question

I said this before on another thread, "Just where in the world do they find guys like this?"

I'm at the point now where if one of these southern states wants to secede from the union, I say, "Don't let the door hit you in the ass, we wish you joy.  No hard feelings, it's been fun, but not real much fun anymore."

Re: A question

Does anyone have any idea why someone felt this needed to be added to the constitution?

And does the name 'amendment one' mean this is the first time their constitution has been amended?  If it is that explains a great deal.

If you make yourself miserable trying to make others happy that means everyone is miserable.

Why?
Fear and bigotry.
The politicians there felt that they could get political advantage by making the people there fear that the 0.2% of the population that is Muslim might try to pass Sharia law.
Some idiots on the internet actually pretended that the states Muslims had already attempted this.

Muslims Try to Pass SHARIA LAW in Alabama… But Citizens Say HELL NO!

I've never been to Alabama. It must be something down there.

Apparently, nearly half of the people there believe that the President is a Muslim, and 1 in 4 believe that inter-racial marrige should be illegal.

Strange.

Not a single thing in that first article about when 'muslims' tried to pass sharia law.  People are so effing gullible.
