I think you have a huge delusion about race. You seem to have some 'white guilt' issue. Just because black people are arrested, doesn't mean it is racially motivated. You do know that there are black people who are criminals who should be arrested, right?

If I possessed your complete lack of knowledge about history I might agree with you.
But I don't.
Sorry

It seems your history knowledge, and current events knowledge are well underneath mine.  You just aren't a very bright person Goose.  It's ok, that's not a requirement in order to hang out on the internet all day, but please don't pretend that you know anything when you don't.

Yea, I was expecting that.
You are out of you element.

Right.  Please get back to me when you have some intelligent arguments to make.

But that's pure speculation.  If others, black people for example, would legally open carry guns, I don't see why they would be treated any differently.  Have they tried? Now, if they aren't following the law, are illegally possessing guns, yes they would be arrested.  I do know, from just a quick google search, that this group in Ferguson does have black members.

I think we should all just dress in camouflage, wear helmets, bullet proof vests, open carry automatic and semi-automatic weapons for the intimidation factor, and indiscriminately shoot anyone who disagrees with our interpretation of the law.

That's what I call a pure democracy!

Jeez . . . I gotta move to Belize or somewhere . . . This is getting really diculous.

I'm not sure what your point is, but hey, Belize is nice, go ahead and move there.

My point is, without reasonable laws that are properly enforced for the benefit of all of society, the society will crumble from within (no need to wait for the feared ISIS invasion). Vigilante groups such as "oath keepers" have no place in an organized society except to be antagonists in civil unrest. The fact that they try to pawn themselves off as some kind of patriotic group makes them even more dangerous to the society that they pretend to protect. They should be rounded up in Ferguson, or wherever else they show up under the guise of "peacekeepers", for inciting violence. They are no better than members of Westboro Baptist Church protesting at military funerals or their harsh discrimination against LGTB individuals.

And, yes, I am familiar with Belize and my wife and I are preparing to live approximately 6 months per year down there on Ambergris Caye, within a year after a trial period. Thanks for the recommendation.

At least they aren't "thugs", aka black people.

Re: Vigilantes in Ferguson

OK, I believe that a group of armed black people would not be granted the deference that this group of white supremacists was granted.
To determine my opinion, I looked at the experience in Fergusen one year ago, and the DOJ report..
I ask The Man to kindly offer what data informs his opinion.

How does Ferguson one year ago make you reach that opinion though? What group of legally carrying peaceful black men were there in Ferguson one year ago that were unfairly treated? The only people I know of that were arrested were the ones committing crimes.

Actually, reporters were arrested. Peaceful protestors were arrested. Even little old ladies were arrested..
But, don't let me educate you.

They weren't arrested for no reason, and you know it.  And don't answer my question either while you're at it.  Thanks.
