Well, it looks like the Trumpster got a smackdown from the Republifox mucky-mucks:
ATLANTA -- Michael Pemberton, a 65-year old conservative from Kentucky, started the day in a good mood. He was attending his second RedState Gathering, and ready to hear from 10 of the Republican Party's presidential candidates. He dug into breakfast -- coffee and fruit -- and sat down with another conference-goer.
"One of the chaps across me asked, 'Did you hear the news?'" recalled Pemberton. "I thought he was going to tell me that a sinkhole opened up in Kentucky and I couldn't go again. But no: He said, they disinvited Donald Trump. I lost my appetite.
"The TV news confirmed it. RedState's outgoing editor-in-chief, Erick Erickson, made an 11th hour call to disinvite Trump after the GOP presidential front-runner told CNN that Fox News's Megyn Kelly had "blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever" when she grilled him during Thursday's presidential debate.

Well, one might believe from the referenced article ablove that Erickson has a "lot of splainin to do" since he has also drawn criticism for saying impolitic things, once calling retired Supreme Court Justice David Souter an “[expletive] child molester” and First Lady Michelle Obama a “Marxist harpy.” I guess the difference is as the article claimed that he has since apologized for both comments.

If Trump were a stock, I'd be selling.

BTW, I think That Megyn Kelly just made her bones by taking this pompous windbag down.
She's gonna write her own ticket from here out.

OMG, this is insanity. I surprised he didn't banish her to the "red tent".
This guy has a big problem with opinionated women and iIm afraid it's going to get really ugly. Everyone thought it was so funny when he would savage loud, thick-skinned Rosie, every chance he got. He's done that for years. I'm afraid Megyn has taken Rosie's spot now and I wonder if folks will think it's so funny when he savages the pretty, blond journalist every chance he gets.

I think it is telling that base conservatives applauded (or at worst, gave him a stern talking to) Trump disparaging John McCain's war record, but kneecapped him for talking smack about a Fox News host.
Makes you wonder just how much sway Fox has in creating the direction of the Republican party.

I wonder.
Fox spent a decade promoting politics as a gladiatorial contest. Of allowing people say the craziest sh*t imaginable without consquence.
I wonder if Fox is now struggling to control a monster they created.

Good points. Does the R-Tribe control Fox or does Fox control the R-Tribe? That's why I began calling the Republican party, the Republifox party.
