Will Abortion Be a 2016 Issue?

Many people, many within the Republican party itself, believe that the GOP shoots itself in the foot in national elections with it's fixation on extreme views on social issues. And they vow, we will not be tripped up on God, Guns and Gays. No Sirree, this time we are going to focus on fresh ideas about the economy, foreign policy, wage gaps. We're going to reach out to hispanics and blacks, yada yada,,,,,,,,,,,,,

But then, like moths to a flame.

Marco Rubio believes in an abortion ban that does NOT have an exemption for rape or incest.

Not to be outdone, Scott Walker wouldn't even allow abortion to save the life of the mother.

And Mike Huckabee? Well, Mike believes that the 5th and 14th amendments actually classify a fertilized egg as a full human being.

How far right will this push the other candidates?
The GOP's "Woman problem" could deny them a win in 2016.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

With the recent yammering about "crushing and tearing apart embryos" and selling off "baby parts" for profit, I'm pretty sure it will be near the top of the list on the republican platform.

Abortion is always an issue for the R-Tribe in any election.  It's one of those hot button issues that gets the vote out.  The last thing they want to see happen is a ban on abortion for that very reason.

We could probably find several instances in the past when the tribe had control of the White House and congress and yet the topic just sort of fizzled away until the next election cycle.

It's brought up at all elections.  It brings money in.  Only thing now is, it's getting crazier and crazier.
