We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Indigenous Christians in Jordan, Palestine, and Syria have been squeezed in a vice between radical Islam and equally militant Zionist Jews.

Soon the only Christian presence in the Holy Land will be the historic shrines.

Isn't it wonderful that the three great monotheistic religions that evolved from the same roots geographically, philosophically, and ancestral base have survived for centuries and get along so well?

Thank god for organized religion.
