I am guessing a LOT of us were "young and dumb" as they say in oiur youths. The difference nowadays seems to be with things like selfies, facebooking, etc. that it is MUCH MORE in the open for everyone to see.

I cringe when I read stuff like this. It's embarrassing. Makes us look like fools.
Some time ago I saw selfie sticks advertised for the first time. I said to my husband....''what kind of narcisistic twit would actually buy something like this?''
He said "'You can bet the grandkids will have one.''. Sure enough at the next family gathering the selfie stick was there and they were all taking pics of themselves with the tongues hanging out and the hand gestures.
I don't get it.
