Was she drunk?

Sarah Palin continues to unravel.
Look at this incoherent rant.

Next stop, rock bottom.

Re: Was she drunk?

Geez.  If she was drunk, at least I could understand.

Re: Was she drunk?

I've been thinking that for some time.  If she doesn't have an alcohol or substance abuse problem, it's a mental health issue, IMO.  Normal people don't act or talk like that.  We had a scitzophrenic family member.  She would go off like that and not make sense.  Just random words, disconnected thoughts not really making sense.   The Dr. said people call it "word-salad".

Re: Was she drunk?

I like that term, "word salad," and in her case made up with skunk weed and other obnoxious or poisonous weeds.  This video is without a doubt the worst attempt by Palin to address any group that I've ever seen or heard.

Re: Was she drunk?

Just imagine for a minute a national political party combing the nation within their tribe for the best vice-presidential candidate to run on a ticket with their chosen tribal chieftan.  They say to their tribal members and followers, "We searched and searched and vetted all possible candidates.  This is the best we've got to offer to assist leading one of the most powerful and influential nations in the world."

It boggles the mind.

Re: Was she drunk?

In a generation they will be doing all sorts of studies to try to explain John McCain's catastrophic decision to put Palin on the ticket. There will be conspiracy theories in droves because the truth was stranger than fiction.

Re: Was she drunk?

I think her point is that fast food restaurants serve garbage, which they do, and that fast food jobs aren't meant to pay a 'living wage'(whatever that is), which they aren't, and they never have.  I don't know though, I could be wrong.  She does come across as a 50 year old valley girl idiot, not very well spoken.  She certainly doesn't help any cause that she is trying to speak for, that's for certain.

Re: Was she drunk?

What was the whole thing about democrats supposedly hating fast food workers and wanting them sent to purgatory ? Weird.

Hey, I get a debate about the philosophy of entry level wages, but Sarah, let's be coherent, and adult.

Hey I was trying my best, you got me on that one though.  I don't know where, when or how religious beliefs of life after death enter into discussions of minimum wage or the quality of the food that fast food restaurants serve.

Re: Was she drunk?

Glad to hear you didn't get it either.

Thought I might be losing my mind.
Of course,  I still might be losing my mind, just not on this one thing!
