Supreme Court Upholds Obamacare

The ACA has reached the Supremes and they have validated its legality.

Sorry Tenny, I was writing my Obamacare post when you were.

No problem here.

It is good news for many who had no other recourse for insurance. It is bad news for some political groups. It is SURE to lead to a lot of controversy.

Let's hope that they can keep enhancing and improving it to serve ALL Americans.

There is still a lot to do

Re: Supreme Court Upholds Obamacare

The Court's decision was the best possible outcome for the Republican POTUS candidates, (and republicans in general) becuase had the decision gone the other way, the GOP would have had to put a concrete fix to the healthcare issue today.

Instead, they just get to complain about "judicial tyranny" (Huckabee is a joke) and make vague statements about a repeal and replace scenario that will never happen.

Agreed. They will try to make the best of a bad outcome. It WILL rile up the extreme right wing, but that is not the group that they really need to attract. Also it will give Rush and the like something to blabber about for a week or two !

Re: Supreme Court Upholds Obamacare

I'm happy for the millions who signed up for ACA and who now can be assured their health insurance will continue.  Perhaps now millions more will be signing up soon now that ACA is safe and sound.
