    We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

    Great pics!  I have never seen a barred owl.  We have Great Horned Owls around here.  We will see him sitting on our barn roof at night.  He looks huge.

    I hear them often, with their syncopated Who-Who-Who-WHo WHO WO-HOO.

    Sometimes I call back at them, and every now and then they answer me.
