Look who I Saw

I'm in Washington for Daughter # 2's College graduation.
This morning I took a walk to the WWII memorial. Lots of buses were there, and it was a real beehive of activity.

Look who was there chatting with veterans, active duty Military personell,,,,,,, and tourists from Massachusetts!
Senator Robert Dole (Retired) of Kansas, and of the US Army's 10th Mountain Division.
91 Years old and still serving his country!

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Very cool.

I think you're going to see a lot of different United States of America over the next three, four, or eight years. - President Donald J. Trump

A very good man.

The article below is a testiment to that and sadly a reminder of what "used to be" in politics.
