DHS broke judge’s order, approved amnesty

What would you expect? It’s the Obama administration.
We Ain’t got to follow no stinking federal court order!

DHS broke judge’s order, approved amnesty applications despite injunction

“This disregard for the court’s action is unacceptable and disturbing, especially after Secretary Johnson’s assurances that his agency would honor the injunction.”

Read the story here:
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/may/8/dhs-broke-judges-order-oks-amnesty-applications/President Obama’s lawyers admitted to a federal judge late Thursday that they had broken the court’s injunction halting the administration’s new deportation amnesty, issuing thousands of work permits even after Judge Andrew S. Hanen had ordered the program stopped.

The stunning admission, filed just before midnight in Texas, where the case is being heard, is the latest misstep for the administration’s lawyers, who are facing possible sanctions by Judge Hanen for their continued problems in arguing the case. The Justice Department lawyers said Homeland Security, which is the defendant in the case, told them Wednesday that an immigration agency had approved about 2,000 applications for three-year work permits, which was part of Mr. Obama’s new amnesty, even after Judge Hanen issued his Feb. 16 injunction halting the entire program.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident,”  former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

Do you have any stories on this issue from reputable publications?

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: DHS broke judge’s order, approved amnesty

Aside from the fact that this journalistic excursion was filed by the Washington Times, when I got to this statement: "the stunning admission, filed just before midnight in Texas, where the case is being heard"--I paused and thought about the common thread in all these Obama bashing conspiracy theories designed to instill fear and doubt in the federal government is Texas.

Yes, Texas. That incubator of fair and honest reporting of facts without bias. That bastion of patriotism, democracy, fair & equal treatment of all. That cathedral of acceptance and inclusion of differing points of view. "The stars at night are clear and bright, deep in the heart of Texas" . . . Too bad the political leaders are just dim bulbs of fading light.
