Oh snap!
Bernie is a "socialist" calling for a "political revolution" that would take on the "billionaire class" and usher in a "European style system" ! ! !
Seriously, could we throw out any more red meat for the angry, frightened, conservative patriots among us?
I couldn't read any further. This communist needs to be investigated by a Ted Cruz committee. Bernie Sanders . . . is he French or something? What's his affiliation with ISIS? (scared)

As some of you know, I've been a Bernie Sanders fan and supporter for a long time now. He labels himself as a democratic socialist. All I ask is you listen to what he has to say and ignore the poop, soundbites, and catchy anti-Bernie Sanders red meat bullshit. Don't be afraid.

There are a lot of political Buzz words there.
In fairness to Bloomberg news, Bernie did call for a revolution, and he is a self-described socialist.
Bernie's job is to educate people as to what his brand of socialism is, and get beyond the caricatures of what socialism entails. If he can do that Bernie's views will get a fair hearing.
But, it's going to be a uphill struggle for him.

They quoted him? It's his own words? People that support him would be glad to hear what he is saying. Right?
"Newly declared presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders said today he hopes to lead a "political revolution" for working families and against money in politics in his bid for the White House.""I think I'm the only candidate who's prepared to take on the billionaire class," Sanders, I-Vt., told ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week."
"We need a political revolution in this country involving millions of people who are prepared to stand up and say, enough is enough, and I want to help lead that effort."Sanders, who will run in the Democratic primary against Hillary Clinton, told ABC's Jonathan Karl earlier this week the millions of dollars flowing into the Clinton Foundation poses a "very serious problem."

This interview highlights the problems that Bernie will face. Yes Sanders did use the terms "Political revolution" and "socialism". Bernie needs to realize just how emotionally laden those labels are or he will just walk right into a buzz saw.
When he explains what it is he wants to do, it actually isn't scary at all
"Host George Stephanopoulos questioned whether the country was ready to elect an avowed socialist.
"Well, so long as we know what democratic socialism is," Sanders responded. "And if we know that in countries, in Scandinavia, like Denmark, Norway, Sweden, they are very democratic countries, obviously. The voter turnout is a lot higher than it is in the United States. In those countries, health care is the right of all people. And in those countries, college education, graduate school is free. In those countries, retirement benefits, childcare are stronger than in the United States of America. And in those countries, by and large, government works for ordinary people and the middle class, rather than, as is the case right now in our country, for the billionaire class.",,,,,,,,
"I think at a time when we have seen trillions of dollars shift from the middle class to the top one-tenth of 1 percent, we have got to say very frankly that the wealthiest people in this country and the largest corporations are going to have to start paying their fair share of taxes; profitable corporations can't stash their money in the Cayman Islands and avoid about $100 billion a year in taxes."
Unfortunately, the headlines are going to scream, "European Style Socialism" and a lot of Americans are going to stop reading right there. Sanders needs to talk more about what he wants to do than to allow the media to label it. Of course, that's going to be tough, because many americans who don't know what socialism is are plenty afraid of it anyway.

While Bernie (and others) have called for revisions to the taxing structure for both indivuduals and business that have found convenient loopholes (which I also can easily get behind), I don't think that changing these things will provide the help that much of the middle class needs. That has to do with jobs and careers that will get things back on track. Most of those old good paying blue collar jobs are not coming back (I hate to sound like a broken record on this). Some of his ideas on spending a lot of money on infrastructure project could help to provide some relief, but there are some very big changes that need to be done in re-education and re-directing of careers to overcome the real problem at least IMHO.
As far as his rhetoric goes, Yes, I agree that you really have to be careful with certain terms when you get to the national stage.

Yes.
Be afraid.
Be very afraid.
We fear change . . . Or at least anything different . . . Or something that may make us think.
