Ahhhhhhhhhhh, marketing a politician can be tricky business. Whatever you do, be sure to read some of this dude's tweets which appear at the end of the article.
National & World NewsMeet Jeb Bush's new 'hipster' CTO and his questionable tweetsPosted: 02/09/2015, 02:23pm. Chad Merda In yet another step toward a 2016 presidential bid, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has hired a chief technology officer, Time reports. Ethan Czahor, co-founder of Hipster.com, will run the preparations for a presidential run via Right to Rise, Bush’s political action committee.
[quote888]Last week Czahor developed the microsite jebspeech.com, which accompanied Bush’s address to the Detroit Economic Club domain registration records show.
Bush is ready to release thousands of emails and the first chapter of a related e-book intended to highlight what he calls a compassionate leadership style and deep conservative credentials. And if Czahor injects his style into all things digital for Bush, things could get interesting, based on his Twitter account. While Czahor hasn’t been very active there, some of his Tweets skew toward the offensive. And on Monday afternoon, many of the questionable tweets were deleted — but not before Rob Flaherty, Director of Digital Media for @TheDemocrats captured them.

I would like to record Mr. Merda's future as Jeb Bush's CTO in light of these tweets.
Anybody got an egg timer?

Yeah, and I'd like to hear about the "compassionate leadership style coupled with the deep conservative credentials". Gee, I thought his brother gave us "compassionate conservatism" during his campaign. Well, what the hell, it worked for him, so why not give it a shot.

From Jackson Browne's "Lives In The Balance"
"There's a shadow on the faces
Of the men who fan the flames
Of the wars that are fought in places
Where we can't even say the names"
"They sell us the president the same way
They sell us our clothes and our cars
They sell us everything from youth to religion
The same time they sell us our wars"
"I want to know who the men in the shadows are
I want to hear somebody asking them why
They can't be counted on to tell us who our enemies are
But they're never the ones to fight or to die"

It's interesting. Any serious presidential candidate is going to have to have an A-plus-plus, technology game.
That ususally means finding those people who skew younger as they are typically more tech saavy.
Younger people also tend to say and do a lot of stupid sh!t on line.
Kind of a catch-22 which I think will end up making a few potential candidates look bad as they form thier campaign teams.

4 out of ten republican primary voters live in "blue states", mainly on the east coast and California.
These folks tend towards being establishment republicans, and that is where the money is.
So, Bush will be a first tier candidate in 2016, unless another establishment guy pushes thru.

Well, he's gone.
Bush aide resigns in wake of offensive tweets
I think that Lager had an excellent point. Young people today have to realize that any stupid thing that they do with be out there for all to see. It's very hard to get rid of.
(In comparison, All I had to do was burn some very unfortunate prom photos, and I'm good to go !)
I guess that we are all going to have to decide how we treat the indiscretions of an immature mind in the digital age.

Some headlines that I find ominous for the GOP.
Kansas governor rescinds order protecting gay state workers
More Alabama judges issue gay marriage licenses, but most are still defiant
It seems that every time the GOP becomes ascendent, they drive right into the ditch of being about God, Gays, and Guns.
I think that, when it comes to national elections, that these issues hurt the GOP. They just end up looking mean.
They are, in my opinion, swimming against the tide of history by opposing gay rights. It's a loser of an issue with young people.
Better to be about growth, jobs, national defense
