That's all fine and good Goose, but YOU need to take some responsibility in this too. I've seen many posts from you, mostly directed towards, or replying to Common Sense, where your civil tone and thoughtfulness is severely lacking. You need to raise your character a few notches as well. Let's not pretend that you haven't been a huge part of the problem here.

Now we are changing the subject from these moderator rules that you were so concerned about yesterday?
You seem more concerned about maintaining attack the Goose mode than you are in improving anything here.

BTW, are you pledging to abide by those etiquette guidelines or not?
A simple "yes" or "no" will suffice.

Pledging? No, I'm not pledging anything.

Will I be courteous and respectful? Yes, as I have been.  Will you?

Yea, I knew that was going to be the answer all along.

But, I've demonstrated to the group that I was willing to go the extra mile to work with a problem individual, so I'm happy.

Ok Goose.  You be happy.

Re: Need new rules for moderators

I am.
And, as one of your board moderators, I pray for your happiness as well.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

Like when you called someone a "dick".
Look at your own shortcomings from time to time as a exercise in self awareness.

And pledge to abide by the rules of etiquette

Goose, you know why you were called a dick.  You changed my post to something completely different than what I wrote.  You were a dick in that instance, I stand by that.  If it hurt your feelings, I apologize.  Others saw it as well.  My inbox blew up with 5 different forum members complaining about you and asking me what Goose's problem is.  I didn't know how to answer them.

Now, let's move on.

Re: Need new rules for moderators

Actually, I didn't.
And the point is, the rules of etiquette cannot simply be discarded whenever you get angry.
I am sorry you don't have the self awareness to grasp that.

Yes, you did!  Others saw it too.  How are you seriously still denying that?

And nice little snide remark there on the end.  You're a class act Goose!

Re: Need new rules for moderators

I am seriously deying it.

BTW, are you going to promise to abide by those rules of etiquette?
Or is etiquette just something you expect from others?
