Mom takes care of business! Baltimore

Do not mess with Mom!  Great job Mom!

That's one kid that did get involved in the riot!!

This mother didn't take kindly to her son participating in the Baltimore riots.

Mom of the year. Truly loves her child.

We need more of that in Baltimore right now.

That's your ideal for parenting?

I'm incredulous.

To be honest, in that situation, she did the right thing. She protected her child the best way she knew how and she took one potential rioter/looter off the street.

Maybe if he hadn't grown up in a home where violence is used to solve problems, he wouldn't be a rioter in the first place?

Now you are just making up stuff! Tell us all about the violence in his home?

I'm watching video of a mother who punches and slaps her kid to solve problems.
What have you been watching?
Please tone down the invective.

Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts,

“And if you saw in one scene, you had a mother who grabbed their child who had a hood on his head and she started smacking him on the head because she was so embarrassed,” Batts told reporters. “I wish I had more parents who took charge of their kids tonight. I think these were youth coming out of the high school and they thought it was cute to throw cinder blocks at the police department and address it that way.”

I don't know. I mean I've never hit my kid, but if I see mine dressed up like a ninja in the middle of the beginnings of a full blown riot, I'll probably using force to make sure I gain control.

Let's reflect on what this mom did:

She kept her son from possibly:

Getting killed
Getting arrested
Inflicting property damage, or physical damage against another person.

Considering the situation, I have no problem with her tactics.

That's your right, my friend.

Get that Mom of the year trophy ready.

I may miss the ceremony
