Believe half of what you see,,,,

So, a Facebook friend shares this post from a site called "The Peoples Party".




Pretty typical stuff from some right-leaning sites.
War hero passes away, ungrateful, unpatriotic nation takes no notice.
We were once great, but now we are crap.
Yada, yada, yada.

So, I googled this man. Yes he was a hero.
But, he passed away in January, not yesterday.
AND, his death was widely noted in medial outlets that included none other than the Washington Post.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
