Patriots' Day in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Wisconsin and Patriot's Day in Maine is an official state holiday commemorating the anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the first battles of the American Revolutionary War.
Meanwhile, in Alabama, they celebrate those who died fighting to destroy the United States.

Hey, when is Osama Ben Laden Day? While we're on the topic of celebrating traitors and enemies, how about a Benedict Arnold and Adolf Hitler Day?
Sometimes when I read about or see stuff like this, I wonder if our country of 50 separate states is just too big, too diverse to be managed by one central governing body.
