It's a good article, Fred.
You know, I always scratch my head when journalists, or even Trump supporters marvel at how unpredictable Donald Trump is. Unpredictable? Excuse me?
Donald Trump is the most predictable man on the planet.
Oh, he may put on a show, acting like he's really considering staying in the Paris Accord for a while.
But, Trump will always act to appease his base. And his base is hostile to any gun control. They are hostile to the environment, free trade, minorities, respect for gay rights or religions other than Christianity.
You instantly know where Trump is going to end up on these issues, after the show is over.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
