Well, we have had one year of President Trump.
Lots of pretty sordid stuff. Russians, Nazis, Porn Stars, Stalinistic attacks.
Take your pick on the most disturbing moment.
Me? I'm struck with how small the President has become.
When asked about a looming government shutdown, Trump replied "It's up to the Democrats", and went on to blame Chuck Schumer as if he possesses all the power.
Trumpism is a cult of personality that stands upon the pillars of his genius, and extraordinary dealmaking prowess.
Remember, we started out with;
"I alone can fix this".
And, now we are at;
"It's up to the Democrats"
Wow.

I believe more and more people are beginning to see that hiring a narcissistic, self-serving, tv reality show host to run a democratic-style governmental system was a bad idea. He is not used to, nor prepared, to answer to anyone but himself.

I always go back to that first Meet The Press interview Trump did after he announced his candidacy.
Chuck Todd asks him, “Who do you talk to for military advice right now?”
Trump responds, “Well, I watch the shows. I mean, I really see a lot of great — you know, when you watch your show, and all of the other shows..."
Trump is in over his head. He's a policy lightweight who needs others to tell him what to do. Meaning someone or someones who we didn't elect are running the country right now.

Good observation by Lager. Actually, Donald Trump and his family would be more at home living the lifestyle of people like the Royal Family of England ,,,,,,,, making appearances now and then, parading around town in a carriage once in awhile celebrating a birthday, etc., and living the life of the rich and famous and loved by everyone.
Dealing with the responsibility of governing must really be annoying to him.
