Top US aid recipients ignore White House threat on UN vote
JERUSALEM (AP) — Ahead of a dramatic vote at the United Nations on Thursday, the United States made an unprecedented threat to fellow members of the international community: those who vote against President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital risk diplomatic retaliation and losing American financial aid.
But when the dust settled, the biggest recipients of American aid — most of them Muslim or Arab countries — rejected the threat, leaving the White House facing a tricky dilemma as it plots a course forward for the Middle East. Key Arab allies, led by Saudi Arabia, all banded together against the U.S.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

The Liar-In-Chief Trump and his core supporters continue to withdraw from international relevance as they retreat into their hunker-bunker mentality.
This story and the story posted about Nobel Prize winners further demonstrate that the Trump administration has no aptitude for interacting with foreign nations regardless of whether they are allies or opposition nations.
While Trump tries to sell this as part of his “Make America Great Again” and “America First” agenda, his misguided foreign policy will eventually lead to the U.S. having diminished influence on the world stage. It also sets the stage for other nations, like China, to take the lead in economic, military, and developing strategic alliances around the world.

Trump is bringing the world together.
They ALL hate us.
