Why Trump's 'giant' middle class tax cut is less than advertised
On average the net effect for most Average Joes will be less than 2%
Really giant, Huh ?

Oh, by the way, THOSE cuts are NOT permanent.
BUT, the approx. 50% cut in Business Taxes ARE PERMANENT !

The GOP tax bill is a huge gift to Democrats.
It will confirm every "party of the rich" and "serving Wall Street not Main Street" stereotype promulgated by Democrats for generations.
Now why would they do something which will virtually ensure massive GOP losses in 2018--and likely the White House in 2020?
I've come to the conclusion that the GOP comes in two permutations: The Uniparty RINOs and the perpetual opposition. In other words; they really don't know (and don't want to) govern. It is easier to gripe and snipe and play the opposition than to actually accomplish something.

I plugged my numbers into that calculator. Got a tax cut of almost exactly 2 %.
But after several years it’s actually a tax hike.
Yippee

Enjoy it while it lasts, and, as Groucho Marx used to say: "Don't spend it all in one place!"
