It was ironic seeing President Heelspur attempt to honor vets of the conflict he avoided in Vietnam.
Disgusting, actually.

From my perspective, as a veteran of the U.S. Navy, this address by President Heel Spurs rings hollow. Especially when I consider his calling John McCain a loser because he was captured while serving active duty combat sorties over Vietnam and spent years in captivity in the infamous Hanoi Hilton, degraded a gold star family during his campaign, refused to apologize for the way he handled a phone call to a recent widow of a green beret, and, of course, his personal avoidance of serving his country in the armed forces as a draft dodger.
Whichever general on president Heel Spurs’ staff who wrote this address, with the help of some speech writer, did an OK job, however his delivery (reading the TelePrompTer) was about as sincere as his phone call to Myeshia Johnson.
