Woman Says Roy Moore Initiated Sexual Activity When She Was 14
An Alabama woman accused Roy Moore, the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in the state, of forcing her into a sexual encounter in 1979, when she was 14, the Washington Post reported Thursday.
Moore, who was 32 at the time of the alleged incident, allegedly took off the girl’s "shirt and pants and removed his clothes," touched her "over her bra and underpants" and "guided her hand to touch him over his underwear," the woman, Leigh Corfman, now 53, told the Post.
In a statement put out by his campaign, Moore, now 70, vehemently denied the allegations, calling them "a baseless political attack" and "the very definition of fake news and intentional defamation."

Following the report's publication, several Republican senators said Moore — a conservative firebrand who served twice as a chief justice of the state Supreme Court and has unsuccessfully run for governor twice — should drop out of the race if the allegations prove true.
"If these allegations are true, he must step aside," Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., told NBC News.
"The allegations against Roy Moore are deeply disturbing and disqualifying. He should immediately step aside and allow the people of Alabama to elect a candidate they can be proud of," Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said.

Steve Bannon's guy.
The next time I go to confession I'm going to have to ask absolution for the sin of schadenfreude.

Wait, wait wait! The guy said sexual relationships with members of the same sex should be illegal, not heterosexual relationships with minors?

Interesting watching the Right contort themselves to protect this creep.
There will be the fake News squeals, attempts to muddy the waters, even blaming The Clinton Machine.
But, this one takes the cake
A Republican auditor compares Moore and the girl he molested to Mary and Joseph
Alabama state auditor defends Roy Moore against sexual allegations, invokes Mary and Joseph
“Take the Bible. Zachariah and Elizabeth for instance. Zachariah was extremely old to marry Elizabeth and they became the parents of John the Baptist,” Ziegler said choosing his words carefully before invoking Christ. “Also take Joseph and Mary. Mary was a teenager and Joseph was an adult carpenter. They became parents of Jesus.”
“There’s just nothing immoral or illegal here,” Ziegler concluded. “Maybe just a little bit unusual.”

Gee, I didn't know that. Pedophilia isn't immoral or illegal, but maybe just a little unusual.

Innocent until proven guilty.*
*Unless you are a male in a leadership position alleged to have engaged in sexual misconduct.
Then it is "INNOCENT UNTIL ACCUSED"

I’m perfectly happy to watch events unfold before judging.
But I must harshly criticize the ridiculous spin being offered.
Mary and Joseph?
Just a little unusual?
It seems like it’s Moore’s defenders who are accepting that it’s true.
Not very reassuring

A county republican chairman in Alabama named Jerry Pow says that he would vote for Moore even if he committed a sex crime against a girl

You know, if you are going to drag the bible into this,,,,,,,,,,,
Mary was a virgin, impregnated thru the Holy Spirit, not Joseph.
What the heck kinda Sunday schools do they have down there in Alabama?
