Has the Fever Broken?

I note that neither Bernie Sanders or "Our Revolution" endorsed Northam for VA governor.
That was a mistake.
He won big anyway, leaving me to wonder just how powerful that movement really is going forward.

And, exit polls in VA show that vote to be a huge repudiation of Donald Trump.

Are the two anti-establishment movements losing some luster?

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: Has the Fever Broken?

Not sure about what is going on with Bernie Sanders, although I backed him during the primaries, or "Our Revolution", but I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines.

Yesterday I joined "Everytown for Gun Safety" affiliated with "Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense".  Please check it out and if it seems like a good cause in light of what's going on with the gun proliferation in America, consider joining, too.  It's not about confiscating guns, but here's where I, and many of their members stand:

1.  Require registration of guns.
2.  Require taking out a liability insurance policy for weapon purchased.
3.  Require some kind training, instruction, and passing a test.

We do all of the above for automobiles and nobody seems to object.  I think the same should apply to the ownership of weaponry.

Speaking about weaponry, I would also add the banning of military-style automatic weapons, clips, and magazines capable of discharging dozens of rounds in a matter of seconds.

I should have become more of an activist after Sandy Hook, but I didn't and I'm sorry for that, but the massacres in Vegas and Texas prompted me to get off my ass.

Ten thumbs up, Fred!!!
You want to change the world, people?
Join Everytown for Gun Safety, or the ACLU, or the Sierra Club.
Knock on doors, canvas neighborhoods, work a phone bank. Volunteer to drive folks to the polls on election day.
