Without a decent option to replace those people with something equally attractive and affordable, the potential voter blowback represents about 14% of the total votes cast in 2012. That is a huge gamble IF it were entirely stricken. I believe that is why total repeal has become a non-starter. Could a better system by found ? That is always a possibility.
