Glad to see this attempt to try and get some bipartisanship back in congress.
He is having dinner with Chuck and Nancy. I would guess that the far left folks are upset with this. You know the resist nonsense and all. Keep-em guessing President Trump.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 66% of Likely U.S. Voters say it is good for the country if Trump works with congressional Democrats to advance his agenda.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident,” former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

I'm sure that people would welcome some bipartisanship.
The Problem is that Trump has made himself toxic to the middle with one hard right turn after another.
I give it a week.
It's a trick to show Mitch and Paul that they have to get in line.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

We will see IF it is bipartisanship or not. Too early to tell.
I WOULD be nice if true. I am not expecting much, however.

Looks more like a desperate POTUS not wanting to be a total lame duck in just the first year of his Presidency.

I'll wait to pass judgement when I actually see some progress and plans that help the majority of citizens are implemented.
At this point, absolutely nothing has been accomplished.

All of this tells me there are a few cracks among the R-Tribe faithful. There are the moderates, the far-rights, the Tea Partiers, and the Trumpers. Everyone trying to pull their chosen tribe in a different ideological direction, and then, of course there are the 'go-alongers' ................... those who will simply cheer for the candidate or leader du jour as long as there is an 'R' after their name. Real democracy is in trouble if you ask me.
