President Trump recently announced his pick for NASA administrator: Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-Okla.), a former pilot whose goals for our solar system include installing humans on the moon and cleaning up space junk. He also has expressed skepticism about human-caused climate change.
Well, that's just great. You know if Donald Trump was in charge during the 17th century he would have imprisoned Galileo and Sir Issac Newton if their research would have undermined the interests of corporate wood and coal burning fat cats. I never thought in my lifetime I would witness the leader of America so bent on marching us back in time. Not only that, but listening to people cheering him on is stunning.

Aditionally unlike previous NASA administrators, the 42-year-old Michigan native does not have any formal qualifications in science or engineering, having earned a triple bachelor's degree in economics, psychology and business from Rice University, and later an MBA from Cornell University.
