Tax Reform?
Some ideas being floated for the Republican tax reform bill.
1. Capping the home mortgage deduction.
2. Making it impossible to deduct state and local taxes on your federal return.
3. Taxing your 401K contributions.
All so they can give corporations a tax cut.
Gee thanks, guys. You are really looking out for us little guys. 
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

So far, it is really NOT about the average Joe.
They WILL throw in a few crumbs to likely make it appear that they got something just to save face.

Right. Does anyone else remember that 600 dollar check we got from from the federal government as went to war in the Middle East? If I recall, we were told "the war will pay for itself."

With a SLTD of nearly $20,000.00 I would be dealt a nasty blow should that be eliminated. Very nasty.
