25 Inches

I cannot imagine what 25 inches of rain looks like. It can't be pretty.
My thoughts are with the people of Texas.
Be safe!

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: 25 Inches

And the bad thing is that is looks like the storm system is sticking around for awhile.

Looks like a really bad situation for those in S. Texas.

I know what 16 inches of rain looks like (Tropical Storm Agnes, 1972).....Market St. in York flooded to just west of Newberry St., for starters.

This could have a long term impact on fuel supplies in the NE, but not immediate.   I remember a few years ago when the Colonial Pipeline was partially shut down from the storm that gave us the "Halloween snow"--gas shortages (Sheetz particularly hard hit) did not show up until around Thanksgiving.
