Can Trump recover
The latest fisaco has Trump AND the GOP on the ropes looking for a way to recover.
I don't think it will shake the hard core Trumpers as they would truly follow him even if he shot someone as he said months ago.
But, the remainder of the GOP is trying to figure out whether to run away from this man or stay and hope it blows over.
Others in the past have recovered from major stumbles and unpopularity, but it takes a certain type of man to be able to adjust. Not sure Trump is that man. IF NOT, his next 3+ years are gong to be a noghingburger as they say.

Survive, yes. That core will never leave him.
Succeed? No way.
Trump is a pariah.
The party will not work with him on an agenda.
He's nuts, and will destroy anything he touches.
The trump presidency is, in effect, over.
