Lacking White House plan, Senate focuses on infrastructure

To have a plan, you have to have good people to create the plan. The lack of good people in the current WH Admin is truly telling and it is BAD thing for all of us.

I've made this observation before and it's beginning to show:

In Leadership 101, it's of utmost importance to surround yourself with solid, knowledgeable people to help run a government so complex and diverse as the USA.  This is not the 'Apprentice' and this is not a family business with no board members to answer to.  No matter what you think of past presidents, I believe they tried their best to appoint and hire competent people to positions of consequence, and that includes advisors.  I don't think Donald Trump took that course.

Yeah, I can't figure it out either. Maybe he wants it to all fall apart. Who knows. Because a LOT of his picks have been terrible selections. I believe Tillerson and Mattis may be fine as well as Kelly, but that is kind of it.

He doesn't seem to respect expertise, or competence.
And Trump doesn't seem to know how to do this job.

And, some of Trump's closest advisors, like Steve Bannon are actively hostile to competence, which they are intimidated by, and  put the "establishment" label on.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
