    I guess they don't have a gold toilet for him to sit on.
    Trump has complete contempt for the United States, It's institutions, it's monuments, its history and traditions.     


    Trump told golf club members that the White House is 'a real dump'

    President Trump has reportedly denounced his White House digs, telling members at his Bedminster golf club that the historic presidential residence is "a real dump."

    The president made the remarks to his patrons in an effort to explain his frequent visits to his New Jersey-based golf club, Sports Illustrated reported Tuesday.

    We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

    Two quick thoughts on this.

    Can you imagine the collective aneurysm Fox News would have had if it had been reported the Obama had called the White House "dump".

    On the flip side, last week on the day D.C. got hit with a big rain storm, Kelly O'Donnell  from NBC News tweeted  from inside the White House that the West Wing had several buckets placed on the floor to collect a significant bit of water that was leaking from the roof. 

    That kinda surprised me a little.

    I'd put up with some leaks to sleep in the same house as FDR, to walk the halls that Kennedy and Lincoln paced. You might even see Teddy's ghost bounding up the stairs.
