President Trump's first six months: by the numbers

Yeah, not much of anything so far. Lot of "promises", but that is about it.

Re: 6 Months in Today

It's time for Democrats to quit screwing around .................... support single-payer-medicare-for-all, or at least a pubic option.  Propose something big and bold.  Call it Fredcare if you want, it matters not to me.

A public option allows each person to decide if they want to buy into medicare or buy a plan from a for-profit insurance company.  It's about freedom of choice.  Stand up for something, dammit!  With all the fuss about healthcare, tax cuts for the wealthy, pre-existing conditions, etc. the time to show a spine is now.

Don't be afraid of pissing off insurance companies and the pharmaceutical industry.  They'll survive just like private colleges survive even though there are state-sponsored colleges and trade schools.  People like me will purchase insurance supplements from for-profit insurance companies for Medicare Part B, or some people will continue on with the insurance plans they already have.  The insurance industry will have to down-size, but they won't disappear.

Time to show some guts, Democrats!

PS.  Ok, that's my rant for the day, but this whole healthcare mess is pissing me off.  For some reason every other industrialized nation has figured it out, but we can't?  Bullshit.

You gotta respect that level of commitment to deceit.
