Trump's Two Russian Realities

Donald Trump held a joint press conference with the leader of Poland today.
There was the unseemly spectacle of one US President criticizing another on foreign soil. Disgusting.

There was also an exercise in evasion the likes of which I rarely see.

Trump was asked, flat out, if the Russians had interfered in the 2016 election.
He gave TWO answers.

1. "Yes". Obama was told very definitively that the Russians were interfering by the CIA in August, and "he did nothing". Bad Obama!

2. "Nobody really knows for sure". Trump, who has been President for six months, and has that very same CIA working for him says, "It probably was the Russians. Could have been others. Nobody really knows for sure".

Hey Donald, it's one or the other. Either we know for sure and you've done nothing about it, OR nobody knows and Obama can't be blamed for not taking greater action.

Can't be both.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: Trump's Two Russian Realities

Our President gives Russia cover, Trashes the  former president, our intelligence agencies, AND the free press while standing in Eastern Europe.

Home run for Putin.
