War Powers Act being revisited

In an unusual bipartisan act, Congress is going to revisit the War Powers Act and its broad powers granted and its ability to bypass Congress.

I am thinking that this bipartisan support is a telling indication that BOTH D and R tribers are growing uneasy with a POTUS that has show little ability to control himself. It is more than scary to have a person at the top of the pyramid as Commander in Chief that has little control over his own emotions.

Even without the issue of the mentality of our POTUS, this is a long overdue piece of legilslation that needs to be reversed.

Re: War Powers Act being revisited

Probably war powers should have been restricted long ago to go back to what our republic should look like.
I guess that it took the election of an uninformed, unstable buffoon as President to get the Congress to rise to their obligations.
I guess that is a good thing.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
