Today Kellyanne Conway was asked about Donald Trump's recent tweet storm, which included an attack on the Mayor of London.
Conway responded by accusing the media of being "Obsessed" with Trump's tweets.
Let me see if I have this right.
The problem is NOT that the President of the United States makes idiotic, counterproductive, and reckless statements.
The problem is that people take note of his Idiotic, counterproductive, and reckless statements.
That about right?

Hey, Kellyanne! Here's an idea: How about if you take his 'tweet machine' away from him for a few days and see what happens.

Exactly right, Fred. When the President of the United States weighs in on policy, or London, etc, it is news whether he issues a statement, gives an interview, or authors a tweet.
If Kellyanne believes that these tweets have become a distraction from the White House's agenda, a reasonable course of action would be to stop tweeting.
Tweeting, and then complaining that people who react to his tweets have somehow done something wrong, just isn't going to fly.
Kellyanne, if the President says or tweets something provocative, damaging, or stupid, the press is going to cover it.
Every Time He does it.

Yep, that's about it.
It's not a problem because of something the Fool In Chief said or did.
It's a problem because you said something about it.
Makes perfect sense

Trump's advisors hold mutually exclusive views of his tweets in their heads.
The tweets are at once revolutionary methods of communicating with the American people, and at the same time, inconsequential things that you can be blamed for taking seriously.
Bullshit.
These are statements made by the President of the United States. And whether he announces them in the Rose Garden, or types them into his smart phone, these statements will be noted and scrutinized.
As they should be.
Guys, I don't see the political genius here.
I see a guy completely overwhelmed by his job, angrily lashing out, stepping on his own message, throwing his own people under the bus in the hopes of recapturing campaign trail magic.

I got a kick out of Trump sending several tweets about what the Dept of Justice ought to do.
Can someone please tell Donald that HE is in charge. It's his DOJ, led by his hand picked attorney general,
