Donald Trump built much of his campaign talking about banning Muslims, stepping up surveillance of Mosques, etc., then making his first stop in a Muslim country and expecting (and maybe getting) a royal treatment from the Muslim people. What's the deal with that? Working out a business deal for himself and his family?
He says he will ask more support to fight ISIS on the one hand, but bad-mouthing Muslim at home and schmoozing with Muslim Saudi mucky-mucks abroad it seems odd to me.

There is a Trump property in Saudi Arabia.
$ is the only religious symbol that he and the royal family care about.
And foreign leaders have been advised that the way to handle Trump is to flatter him.

Good point. The same strategy was used by contestants on the Apprentice.

How about when Trump tweeted out this regarding the Obama's visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:
"Many people are saying it was wonderful that Mrs. Obama refusing to wear a scarf in Saudi Arabia, but they were insulted. We have enuf enemies."
Fast forward to the Trump family visit to the kingdom today, neither Melania nor Ivanka donned an abaya nor a hijab. Was this their statement of western girl power, or an attempt to show disrespect to Saudi decorum?
My, my, my . . . how times have changed for Trump depending on his personal situation.

And, to top it off, I see that he's visiting Sicily. Should run into a few friends down there.
