Brings back memories of years back when we visited Naples as shown in the article. IF it erupts it could be a modern day catastrophe.

I met a cousin of mine when visiting Naples a few years ago. He is a scientist with the Italian government.
Told us stories about the volcanology of the region. It was terrifying.
