Never Thought I'd See The Day

On Morning Joe today the panel, which includes respected historian Jon Meacham, and former republican congressman Joe Scarborough, was openly discussing the President's 'Mental State '.

Be afraid

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: Never Thought I'd See The Day

I caught a part of the first hour of MJ and it was striking when they contrasted Trump speaking yesterday about Andrew Jackson and the Civil War versus an interview he did 30 years ago about national finances and our relationship with the rest of the world.

In the old interview, he seems lucid with a well thought out worldview, whether you agree with it. Yesterday, he sounds like a babbling idiot.

Concerning to say the least.

I think you're going to see a lot of different United States of America over the next three, four, or eight years. - President Donald J. Trump

We're probably looking at someone exhibiting the initial stages of dementia.  Unfortunately I've seen it develop first-hand.

It will be a fascinating four years for historians.
Assuming, of course, that we live through it.

I've got the feeling some of the team members are talking about changing quarterbacks.  The 25th Amendment is starting to surface and brought up in private conversation among some of them.

Must not have been too private.

What is private anymore?  It came up in a conversation I had with a couple of state reps I know.
